Organization
Any individual or organizational member of the Arts Forum has a vote in determining the direction and projects of the Forum. An Executive Committee that oversees these activities is elected on an annual basis. Officers are elected to terms beginning in June. The current Executive Committee is listed here:

Forum Meetings
The Arts Forum meets regularly on the fourth Thursday of every month. Noon, brown-bag lunch meetings are held at the Durant Community Arts Center, 1605 Cameron Street, Alexandria, Virginia (click here for a map).
Evening meetings are held at a variety of arts venues.
The primary purpose of these meetings is to provide:
- Space and face-to-face time for members who are engaged in Forum projects.
- Speakers who are related to Forum projects or long-range plans.
- An opportunity for the exchange of ideas and informations, and a place to generate plans that will advance the arts in Alexandria.
